eBay is improving it’s Buy It Now and Shops from 25th September so if you sell lots of Buy It Now items or own a shop then now is your chance to get up to date with whats happening.
- ‘Buy It Now’ insertion fees as low as 1p - less outlay so you can list more stock
- Shop Listings to appear in main search results - your shop will appear in more searches
- Free Gallery - its a fact that listings with photos sell more
- Greater rewards for the best service -get recognised for your hard work
What better incentive to open a shop than the benefit of reduced fees for Buy It Now. Businesses with volume stock can reduce their listing outlay by making sure they are signed up to the right kind of eBay Shop. Multiple items of stock can be listed together so you only pay a single insertion fee. Not only that the more you sell from that listing the more likely it is to appear higher up on the search results. A facility called Good ‘Til Cancelled means that listings are automatically renewed until everything is sold saving you time re-listing.
Shop ‘Buy It Now’ listings will now appear alongside other listings in searches rather than in a separate box plus the more sales they attract the higher up the search listings they will appear. The ‘Featured First’ listing upgrade can help kick start your sales by putting your listing at the top of relevant search results getting you ahead of your competitors. Don’t forget as well that its a proven fact that listings with photos sell more so take advantage of the free Gallery to include photos of all your items.
If you maintain high DSR (Detailed Seller Rating) by offering great service to buyers then top performing DSR’s (scores of 4.6 or more) can benefit from a range of rewards (rates based on 30 day average unless otherwise stated):
- Keeping your listing visible (Sellers whos average DSR scores less than 4.4 get demoted in search results meaning good sellers get the most visibility)
- Final Value Fee discounts on your monthly invoices- up to 40% off your monthly Final Value Fees (Minimum DSR scores of 4.6)
- Widest choice of Shops -You’ll need minimum DSR scores of 4.4 (based on average of last 12 months) to open a Featured Shop and 4.6 to own an Anchor Shop.
- Access to the Featured First listing upgrade - (4.4 average required)
