East Midlands Development Agency www.emda.org.uk has been running a series of events aimed at helping businesses during the economic turndown. The series of four events throughout the region bring together businesses looking to gain advice and solutions for their companies in a bid to help them avoid redundancies and improve their bottom line.

Events are being held throughout the region culminating in the final event on 11th December. The event takes place at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Nottingham and starts at 8.30am.  Nottingham’s event includes masterclasses by representatives from Cooper Parry advising on cash flow and legal advice on getting paid from Shoosmiths solicitors. Businesses can also learn how to negotiate finance with Freeth Cartwright and minimize risk and mazimise profitability with CBG Learning Academy.

EMDA (East Midlands Development Agency) are a driving force in the area and their website provides a wealth of information to support businesses regionally. With support via Business Link companies in Nottingham, Derby, Northampton and Leicester and surrounding areas are able to access valuable support and advice to help grow and sustain viable businesses.
