Christmas greetings may be the last thing your business wants to think about when the word on the street is ‘credit crunch’ and ‘recession’. Businesses in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester have an opportunity to either succumb to the downward trend or fight to win the business that is still out there.
Previous articles on marketing have been echoed by numerous email flyers we have received advising businesses to continue to market themselves. Local business organisations like EMDA have been organising events like ‘Survive and Thrive’ to try and help businesses combat this difficult trading period.
If your business is suffering in silence then you need to take a leaf out of the book of the companies who are pressing ahead with new websites, email marketing campaigns, promotional events and networking. They know that there is still a demand for goods and services. It might be a little harder to win the business but by ensuring that they are still out and about spreading the word about what they do, at least they will stand a chance.
